The Panna Medhavi Saree takes inspiration from of the sarees seen in the National Textile Museum, New Delhi. The Saree features and auspicious jaal of elephants that signify strength and parrots that signify love and fertility. There is a local tradition wherein the father gifts a saree with a pair of parrots to his married daughter when she is expecting. The saree is handwoven in pure mulberry silk with gold plated zari and comes with a blouse piece with the same border as the saree.
