Inspired by Royal Nizam silhouettes, the Pachranga Chowmahalla Lehenga is tailored in soft folds of our signature pachranga silk interspersed with karhua bootis in gold plated zari. The Pachranga silk is painstakingly handwoven by our artisans in Banaras with a specialised dyeing and warp preparation where the yarn is divided into five equal parts, each of which are dyed in five different colours. The warp is then placed as per a specific sequence before weaving.
The lehenga is finished with a border on our heritage kimkhwab brocade in pachranga silk, the design of which dates back to the 19th century.
The lehenga is paired with the Pachranga Mahboob Blouse tailored in the same heritage kimkhwab brocade and the Jamuni Mir Odhni in organza with a floral vine jaal in dabka and zardozi hand embroidery.
