The Pachranga Humsaaya Lehenga is tailored in fine handwoven pachranga silk, created by our artisans in Banaras.
The lehenga is paired with the Pachranga Humsaaya Blouse tailored in handwoven brocade silk, the floral design of which is revived from a jaal from the early 1920s, with an arched panel of handwoven pachranga silk tissue. The organza Humsafar Odhni, decorated with a border of of sequin hand embroidery and our signature bee motif in dabka and zardozi embroidery completes the look.
The Pachranga tissue is painstakingly handwoven by our artisans in Banaras with a specialised dyeing and warp preparation where the yarn is divided into five equal parts, each of which are dyed in five different colours. The warp is then placed as per a specific sequence before weaving.
